Fascinating. I always wanted to see this after seeing the high nesting cavities in the north west, They are a very beautiful duck. Didn't expect them to bounce but wondered how it was done. I got to see nene(goose) nesting this year and heard the vocalisations of the mother as the eggs opened. On the blog if interested. There's also a u tube of the goslings on their first outing, nene gosling Hanalei should find it. Can't believe there are no comments it's a great sequence
